The applicator needs to cover any areas that the insecticide shouldn’t touch and need to clean those surfaces after the application. The insecticide makeup has a synergist added to make it aerosolized and flammable. This means all, yes, ALL flames, pilot lights or any other ignition sources need to be addressed prior to applying.
